Emet is built to ask as little of you as possible. You do not create an account, and the app is designed to collect the minimum information needed to work. This policy explains what is and is not handled when you use it.
No Account, No Profile
Emet does not require you to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address, or password to use it. We do not build an advertising or behavioral profile of you, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
We do not embed third-party advertising networks or cross-app tracking software.
Purchases and Subscriptions
All payments are processed by the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details.
To unlock and remember access, the app uses RevenueCat, which assigns an anonymous app-user identifier and reports back whether a subscription or free trial is active. This identifier is not your name and is not used to identify you personally.
Your Questions to the Ask Gateway
When you use the Ask feature, the text you write is sent to our server and to our artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic) so a response can be generated and returned to you.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in your questions. These messages are used only to produce a reply; they are not used to identify you or to build a profile.
Information Stored on Your Device
Your progress, preferences, and your conversations with Ask the Framework are stored locally on your device, not in an online account. When you ask a question, the text is sent to our AI provider only to generate a reply and is not stored on our servers. You can erase a conversation anytime with "Start over," and everything stored locally is removed when you delete the app.
Third-Party Services
A small number of services help operate the app and each handles limited data under its own privacy policy: Apple (App Store), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Anthropic (AI responses).
Children
Emet is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app removes the information stored on your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date above will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
